Haha I must say I think I'm in the same boat, although the tech looks like it's pretty damn good. Hmm... I'm not even certain how to tell what drive I have, is there an easy way if you don't have an orange sticker presenting at all? I am hoping to avoid taking it apart, but what must be must be!

That Wasabi looks good but still seems like you have to get up and press buttons on the console. I wonder if you have to do that every time you power up or decide to switch games? Too bad it doesn't also perform like a JTag does with homebrew and what not

    • Unique, intuitive on-screen user interface - navigate the ISO list directly from the Xbox 360 dashboard using your controller. No need to interact with a small remote/LCD for feedback or navigation. No need to ever leave the sofa. See the demonstration video!

Just my personal opinion, both the xk3y and Wasabi have had issues here and there. From all that I have read the xk3y is by far the most stable on the 2. I have an xk3y and installation is extremely easy. In terms of bring live safe... neither device is quoted as being live safe. If going on live is important to you, I don't recommend using an ODDE.. even in pass through mode. With that said, the xk3y has a very helpful user forum, that is often used by the TA, the software developer.
