Hey guys, I wanted to run backups on my Xbox360. So here's my story.
Things I have: Dell Inspiron 1545, Phillips Lite-on 83850C dated July 09.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1545, I took it apart laptop, and found no SATA port. So I'm thinking about getting this: X360usb Pro Mega Bundle #3 - XCONSOLES.COM, then buying the probe III Xecuter CK3 Probe 3 - XCONSOLES.COM. The kit comes with:
XECUTER X360USB PRO
XECUTER CK3 LITE
XECUTER HDD ADAPTER (PHAT DRIVES)
XECUTER UNLOCK TOOL V2 (PHAT DRIVES)
XECUTER AC MOLEX ADAPTER (which doesn't come with the AC part)
Now I thought I was all good till I saw this: flashing Lite-on with ck3 probe 3 and ck3 lite - YouTube
I have a couple of questions here: on the video at around 2:20, where would I plug that if I don't have a SATA port and using a x360USB pro.
Also at 1:39, Do I need something like that coming out of there, if so does it come with it?
If i buy what I listed do I need to buy anything else? (wires, etc)
Thanks in advance...
EDIT: could someone show me how to connect this?
Thanks to Peire to making the awesome sig and avatar!
You NEED a x360usbpro to connect the drive to your computer. You need a probe to extract the keys from your drive. A ck3pro is a good tool to power the drive to be safe on live after the flash. A molex adaptor is needed only to power the ck3pro to power the drive. Some use the xbox to power the drive, but that may be cause for a ban from live.
Don't bother with youtube. Check THIS for perfect-ness in flashing.
