    Want to flash my Xbox 360 Elite need help!

    So I was wondering what I needed to do it? And is there an good Xbox 360 only forum anyone can suggest? And I'm not playing online an I'm only playing backups of my originals.

    First you need to find out which drive you have

    Thanks for the reply will I need to buy any cables or anything an if it answers in the pdf file I haven't been able to look at it cause I'm at work.

    The pdf is about 8mb so huge. It has informtion on flashing all drives and what tools you need.

    if you plan to "never" go on live you can use the 360 to power the DVD. If you want to go on live with it you will need a connectivity kit. The xbox logs if the system is ever powered and the DVD is not connected. Certain "live" ban. You will need a sata port available on your PC mobo I believe jungle flasher supports most chipsets nowadays.

    Not to be a noob but where would I get one of those connectivity kits? Any recommended sites for that?

    modchip.??? is one. they have an american site and a canadian. if you are outside north america then do a google search for one closer to you.
