360 wireless adapter made from old router...

Why spend $100 on the "official" M$ wireless adapter, when you can "make one" yourself.

All you need is a second wireless router and configure it to connect as a wireless bridge to your main wireless router.

I just did this tonight and it works like a charm.

    THIS IS A START

There is plenty of information available on the dd-wrt.com website.

Take your time and you'll soon have a very cheap, yet functional Xbox 360 wireless adapter yourself if your box doesn't have the wireless already built in.

That's pretty clever! I never thought of that. Unfortunately, I don't have enough actual space for a router. The adapter fits better in my console. You have to love how adaptable the Xbox 360 is, and how great it looks on a led tv.

It is cool. The only thing that throws you off a little is setting the xbox network as a wired connection instead of wireless. Weird, but whatever works for free.
