Just playing with the help!!!!!! Just wondering if the sticky posted here, [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] is the best way to hack an xbox, or if there is something newer.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Hey Stomp! What did you wind up doing with this? My neighbor asked me about hacking his Xbox and I'd like to do it but I don't even know what an xbox looks like ;P

Wondering if there are similarities to hacking the Wii?

I haven't even looked into hacking it yet. I think I'm gonna hack my xbox1 first. I just made a USB dongle for it last night, and bought a used Splinter Cell about a week ago, and ready for softmod now. But the 360, I still deciding if I want to hack it.

360 is simple now. That guide is as updated as they come, except the software has changed a bit. The new version of jungle flasher was released yesterday. Google will show you the way

The hardest part is getting a compatible SATA chipset and opening the damn thing up.

that's correct, in addition, you will lose functionality such as live enabled save games and "play game off HDD" option.
