It looks like a good start so far. The ability to rip my games and live-safe are mandatory features for me, before I even consider buying one

I see they managed to get xdg3 games running on the xkey,so thats a good start when they eventually get shipped.Plus just read that anyone intrested in dead island can grab and burn as some were xdg3 and some are normal 360 iso,so things looking good on the 360 scene.

Anyone know how these things work? Like I have a flashed drive does this require extra stuff( apart from the USB drive and Xkey)? So much cheaper than discs...

Sent from the stylish DROID X via the Wiihacks app.
Thanks to Peire to making the awesome sig and avatar!

It is an optical disk emulator. In a nutshell a PCB sits between the system board and your console's optical disk drive. The PCB is programmed to trick your system into thinking a real disk has been inserted and loaded. It is the reason "ODEs' don't require softmodding or firmware flashing. Wii has two successfull ODEs, Wode Jukebox and the WiiKey Fusion. Three ODEs are being developed for the Xbox 360, XKey360, Wasabi 360 and Xode Jukebox. I suggest visiting the manufacturer websites to get complete details on their respective devices.

I saw this vid yesterday. It is pretty awesome that it is supposedly as live safe as CFW. As soon as the implement drive key extraction, I'm sold
