hassle free...no maintenance, no more ios's...file...softmod updates.... softmod bricking...

yes worth it for the best solution around ... and really the price...is well worth it considering all the advaNTages

lots were paying about that much in the earlier days of wii mods just for a little d2ckey chip to be installed

example>>. can also build a fire rubbing sticks together too.... me I prefer a to use a lighter....lol

and later maybe a flame thrower

yes but a flame thrower would be over kill, kinda like what this product is. now all they need to do is have a horizontal version of this that has a space for a SATA Hdd.

I don't want to have to go manipulate a little joystick everytime I want to play a game, especially because I will have millions of gamecube games/wii games on my hdd and I would not enjoy scrolling through a list on an lcd that only shows me like 6-8 file names at one time...I have almost 100 games on my drive now, if I want to play Wii Sports Resort, last name in the list, that will take a few minutes to scroll. Give me bluetooth support and a display on tv and I'll take it

I don't actually own a Wii yet, but I've been doing 360 flashes/mods/upgrades long enough to branch out to a new console, and while browsing saw this little device. At first it sounded too good to be true that a little mod could do so much, I mean, runing ISO's from an external HDD, multiple HDD compatibility, multiple file system compatibility, direct dripping of disc's to HDD, and it runs off linux, plays GC games like a champ, and 8x read speed from HDD. I decided to go ahead and get one of these before I even bought my Wii.

It is impressive. I like the idea of being able to load from an NTFS USB drive, and the fact that its 8x speed.

And as Favs pointed out its update proof and has least chance of bricking your wii.

I think it should sell very well.

Us Bricking your wii is for NOOBS!

If your so worried about bricking your wii you should not mod your wii in the first place. Thats why this is being released to make money off of all the noobs that brick there wii's or don't know wtf about anything in the wii scene, but if you don't know how to use google, read and follow instructions and have an extra onehundred and something dollars to blow, then I guess it's a wise purchase.

I am not worried about bricking my wii. I have a Wiikey 2, and I have the soft mod and updated to 4.2 successfully

There are lots of people who know about the wii scene and would buy this, just because and to play around with it.

Maybe some of us do have more money to blow.
