    no mios = no gc games
    since you uninstalled the cmios, you don't have a mios at the moment
    you need one for GC games to run, hence the black screen

    So maybe if i can install a virgin MIOS then that might work. I dont need a patched one to play backups because the drive cant play them anyways...is there a prog out there that can load on a clean mios?

    yes, a virgin mios should work...
    mios v10 is the newest, you can use either of the links I put in my other post to get it

    Success!! Made a WAD using the latest MIOS from NUS Downloader, Installed it and now GC games are running again. Thanks for your help us3rname
