    4.3 and Wode

    Do not update to 4.3

See this thread for info on 4.3.

If you only use the wode as a hardmod it works fine with 4.3.
If you want to use HBC, don't update.
If you have updated there are work arounds, but best is probably to wait for a new hackmii installer.

You can restore your cIOS on 4.3, by Shadowsonic.

There is also a downgrade 4.3 to 4.1, mauifrog.

If you had HBc and updated, you can install priiloader, here are the hacks that include all 4.3 regions.

Good news for new 4.3 people, released today by Mauifrog, 4.3 virgin mod.

WODE users please keep this important fact in mind. System menu version (this update) has nothing to do with being able to play games. So really there is no need to update at all.

Does the Wii always give you a choice in updating or do you have to take steps to prevent it from updating?

The wode has a setting for updates, this should be set to no.
If your Wii is softmodded you can prevent online updates with priiloader.

The Wii will always ask you to accept the update, problem is kids usually say yes.
