Please help WODE does not recognize USB devices

    Hello
Can someone help me please; my WODE is not reading my Hdd.
    I have tested the following;
I upgraded to 2.1 and tried with a 2 gb flash drive and a 4 gb flash drive, Fat32 on 500 gb WD direct and with a powered Hub, 1TB Hitachi with external power, 2TB Hitachi with external power seems like no USB devices work.
I then downgraded to 1.0 and same thing not recognized same on 1.28 and 2.1A.
    Went back to 2.1.
When I use a SD card I can run the WODE Test ISO.
    Flat WODE also works.
When I try to rip to SD card it starts but stays in 0% I checked the SD in my pc and saw the WODE created a folder with the name of game, inside 2 files WBFS,BCA both 0kb. any ideas

    Thank you.

Please start your own thread do not hijack someone else's thread.

sleek - when you say you can run the test ISO what do you see onscreen when you do run the ISO?

I suspect that you have a defective WODE unit, contact your retailer and arrange a swap out of the base unit PCB.

    Thank you for responding R_N_B.
Sorry for the delay. When I run the ISO in the LCD it says El Torito and on the Tv screen.
Hello WODE user your HDD structure is correct!

I tried to get in contact with my retailer they responded once but when I asked for a replacement PCB board they ignore all my e-mails. I even asked how much they would sell me one and no responce.
    Sorry for my bad English.

There is no need to replace anything at this stage. It seems your installation is fine the problem then is elsewhere.

Please post as much detail about your hard drive.

    Make and model.

How is the hard drive powered?

If you go to the this page you will see many ways to fix your problem.

    Good luck

Hope you are right R_N_B because my retailer ignores all my e-mails.
Not sure if you notice but I tried to explain that the WODE test ISO only runs from my SD card.

    I used a 500GB WD My Passport WDME5000ME-01 Fat32,,USB direct
    .
Used same My Passport but with a powered HUB.

Hitachi 2Tb XL2000 with external power.

    Hitachi 1Tb with external power.

    2 gb flash drive

    4 gb Kingston flash drive

The only one that works is my 2gb sanDisk SD card.

Thank you once again for your help.

Sorry forgot to mention I read from the link and tried different cable size but same results not recognize.

Ok - please post the name of your retailer or pm the name to me. It sounds like you have a faulty USB connector. The quick and easy option would be to swap out the LCD board. If you bough your WODE from one of the official resellers there is no problem for the swap out.
