What you need to do is this.
    Select your GC game.
    Open HBC, and Gecko.
    Select launch game.
And then simply toggle the joystick to start the game.

Remember this is a test to see if your game or the TV is the problem. Nothing more.

edit.. thats what i get when I buy the cheap stuff..
Can you think of any workaround, or maybe a newer version of some programs, that might fix it?

And do you have any idea why it only happens with GC disks?

GameCube games were written and designed before the LCD (wide screens particularly) were available. Couple that with the huge problems that different region formats bring to the table it is seemingly unfixable with your particular TV. I have one last question do you have the original disc, basically do you have any NTSC-U original discs that you could test. Because it could be that your copy is the problem. I have no idea where or what version (besides the region) you are trying to get to work. If other US games (GC only) worked then it would be that particular game only. But since it is all US gamecube games then it is TV.

I am assuming that you have tried all the settings in your Wii sytem set up too. Not just the video settings available to the WODEflow or Gecko options.
