Lightbulb super smash bros brawl black screen

Hi I recently got a wode jukebox for my wii and downloaded a couple of games but the only game that doesn't seem 2 work correct is ssbb.

The game itself loads fine and i can play it but when i start subspace emissary and defeat kirby i get a black screen and it doesn't do anything anymore from there.

I get the same black screen after i beat the classic game.

Is there anyone who knows how 2 fix this if its possible?

if you guys need more info like wode jukebox version i think i have the latest one cause the guy that did it for me said so.

and about the game iso itself it was 7.4gig big think thats the right one else would not start i think.

anyways hope 2 hear from you guys.

Thanks Ithian - first up both games are tested as working by me. I had the same issue with Monster Hunter Tri and it proved to be my rip that was at fault. The problem with downloaded games is that you do not know what has been done to them They might have been signed to work with certain mod chips or modifications to the Wii. WODE does not need that. The best thing is to get hold of a 100% copy or the original and rip using the WODE ripping feature. That way you are guaranteed to get a perfect copy.

SSBB will work depending on your WODE settings and your Wii firmware version. With out that information I can not assist you. And anyone else who does is guessing - but you never know a guess might solve your problem too.

Thanks mate - quick question is this a original or a downloaded copy. I have played the game on my own system same spec as you 4.2E and I did not have a problem.

The fact that the game starts and plays for a bit is interesting then fails at the same point. I think it is the copy that you have personally. My reasons are simple I have the game and I ripped it with the WODE and it plays fine. My youngest son loves the game and he says not a problem at that point where you fail.

So might be a good idea if you like the game to get yourself a copy.
