    Does Wode Play Scrubbed Games?

Just wanted to get an answer on this, read some conflicting information. I just want to get an easy mod for my wii, don't want to deal with the hassle of softmodding.

Is there any problems with scrubbed games?

What about different regions, such as PAL games?

    Thanks!

As the scrubbed games question has been dealt with I will only add one comment before I address the different regions issue. While most scrubbed games are playable (supported by the WODE) cISO games are not.

If a Wii has been updated to 4.2 then it will not be able to play out of region games natively even with the WODE. That is because the 4.2 update from Nintendo changed the way that the Wii console looks for region information. WODE does not change or alter any part of the Wii memory or firmware so there is no work around with the WODE alone. However a rather simple and low level soft mod is to install gecko OS and thereby run those out of region games from a 4.2 Wii. The process is rather simple and quite easy to do with the WODE.

If your Wii is however 4.1 and lower then it is straightforward way to play out of region games. All you need to do is set region patching to on in the WODE settings options and start your game as you would normally.

Hey bro, regarding the Gecko OS thing, how would you go about playing different region GC ISO's on a 4.2e Wii with a wode?

    Thanks.

You would play the GC ISO's in exactly the same way you would a Wii ISO that was from a different region.

Assuming you have Gecko installed yes? I will use the LCD selection method but there are others of course.

Select game via the LCD but do not start it yet
    Open HBC
    Open Gecko
Select game on the LCD and load game on Gecko
If you are to slow with the select game not to worry just press b on the Wii mote and select load on Gecko
    Play game.
