do you just say no to update every time and then move on.
or does it stop asking after first time ?

Provided you install the latest Opera channel, Shopping channel and stuff (get them from NUSD http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...ownloader.html) then your Wii will only ask you to update if you click on the Update option in the Settings.

Hi Tealc, I guess crf is softmodded. I can see a problem for a lot of Wode users who do not want to softmod.
Normally they would let the system update, they get all the goodies from Nintendo and all their IOS are upto date.
Now the Wode team are recommending people stay on 4.1 because they think as we do its the best to be on.
How could you get online without softmod and without updating?
I was thinking of viginising one of my 4.1's to test it out, then use my nand to restore.
(sounds like I have lots of Wii's, only two)

Sorry I didn't even notice this was in WODE. I didn't even read the word WODE in the opening post. Doh.

You can go online so long as you already have your wiiConnect24 setup.
    Say no to any requests.
I think I tried connecting two Wii's on one WiFi, I got the message you cannot connect two on same WiFi.

After putting all of my internet settings (wep key) into my wii settings, it connects wirelessly and then asks to do a wii system update. I hit no because I am unsure if this will brick my wii or not. I also can not play online on my wii and I think this "wii system update" is what is hindering it. Any help?
