Good luck to those who developed it!
The Wode is not like the Wii which has a compatibility list for HDD that it likes.
The Wode is supposed to be compatible with virtually any HDD that you can connect to a USB hub.

Couple questions before I purchase this device, I have a 250 GB Harddrive and I was thinking of getting Gamefly to use to get my games,

Can I just use the Wii Drive to rip the games to the Harddrive?

    and

also will the Wode support the D3-2 Drive as I have not currently purchased my Wii yet and I would rather just craigslist a used one,

    Thanks for the help.

Yes the WODE can rip to your HDD.

This should explain your other question.

Right now there is a video on the installation, and on the Wode site there is intructions on how to install the downloaded software, and how to navigate around the Wode.

ok well im definatley going to get one....seems the easiest option for me.....which is the best/most reliable place to order from..im in the uk.

Also i need a harddrive for this, so what is the best hard drive to buy, and how big should i buy? looking at wii download sites looks like the iso's are over 4gb eacg? so i would need a really large hdd to store lots of games wouldnt i?

i really am sorry if these seem like silly questions, but i am very new to all this.

    thanks in advance

Any USB HDD, you can even have a hub. I would say 500GB or 1TB.
You can format the drive into various partitions, instead of haveing ISO's on the drive you could have a WBFS partition so reducing the file size.
