What will be the chances of using a channel to access wode in the future ?

It would be nice to flick thru games etc , without having to get up all the time

I might have to get one though , I have a shit load of GC iso's and just a pain to have to burn them to DVD-R

Not really sure about the channel but I know they have plans to have it operable from the Wii Opera Browser.

What about compatabilty . Im only asking as I have not had the chance to run any thru Gamecube channel yet . I have tried a PC emulator Dolphin and it seems to struggle with some of the games .

Well since this emulates the DVD drive their shouldn't be any compatability issues except for maybe with the few games which have streaming audio, I'm not sure how that will work.

ive only just bought a wii, and am not very technically minded so can somebody just clarify that if i buy one of these WODE things i can then:

have loads of wii and gamecube iso's on a harddrive and then play them on my wii whenever i like?

also is this something a bit of a technophobe should be doing or am i likely to come to unstuck?

ive got the edge card on my nintendo ds? will this work in a similar way, like ill have a list of loads of games to choose from?

also will i be able to update my wii when nintendo release updates as normal?

so sorry if this is a silly question

    Buy it or leave it.

To whom that have extra bucks, then just grab this.No hassle doing all the softmodding stuffies and risk of bricking your Wii.
I personally love to softmod my son 2 months old Wii....it's adventurious, even I'm still 'holding' the NOOB title....For the hackers out there, congrat to all of your excellent hacks!!!Nintendo, thanks for the nice console...

Yes just like every other modchip it involves opening up your Wii and just like softmodding it voids any form of warranty.
