    BCA Files Needed For WODE

OK so like so many of you I rushed out and bought a WODE thinking it ws gunna be great, only to find it being the worst made piece of tat I'd ever seen. Apart from it almost falling to pieces in my hand it's also the must fussy bleeding chip ever, only playing 1-1 rips.
So basically I am needing links to some BCA files for any and every BCA protected game. I have searched here and other forums but so far only found Mario.
    Thanks in advance.

that will be because mario is currently the only one that uses the BCA protection.

If you rip a retail disc the wode automatically extracts the bca data and saves it as a file with the same name as the game.
The wode is doing this for all games but as davepm says only NSMB is using it at present.

I got the idea from the people at wode when I asked them why none of my games were working. They said that only retail rips work. No modded games at all (fdor intance the endglish patched fatal frame will never work) and I figured they meant scubbed too.
So how do I get sports resort to work on wode? Since there's no way to run alternate dols on it?
I have tride 2 different rips of that game so far and all I get is a black screen. Also mine is saved after the motion vid.

At present wode cannot rip games at all, that is something it will be able to do in the future.

Well maybe you should invest in the game instead of pirate it and then it will work as there won't be a need for alt dols.

Sadly folks do not take the time to either read up about stuff or bother to try and understand about stuff when the answers are presented to them. Not suggesting for a moment that the OP is in that category at all.

First point. The WODE will play all games that are 1:1 dumps. That is its purpose and that is why it was made. The WODE is for those folks who own their games but wish to make a copy of said owned game to preserve and prevent damage to the original DVD.

Second Point. The WODE will play scrubbed games. The WODE does not play all cISO games - some do some don't. Nor will the WODE play all games that have been ripped and then patched. Note use of the word all. A patch for example changes the Wii game ISO by nature of its function - it patches. Some patches will work with the WODE but others not. The reason is simple the WODE is a Wii optical drive emulator. It does nothing else but pretend to be a Wii dvd drive. So unlike soft-modding which changes stuff in the Wii the WODE works with the Wii not against the Wii. No messing with the Wii memory or software. That means updates can happen without fear of bricking the Wii with a WODE.

Third point. - The Fatal Frame Four game - mate I tested that game and if you are the same lad who posted on the support forum you will know darn well how much effort I put into doing so. I got every available different versions of the game - the English patched versions and others that required the subs to be loaded via SD card each and every one of them failed with the WODE. Now that was not because of the WODE not doing what it is designed to do. Subsequently I have received my original copy of the game and it works just fine with my WODE. No English text and no English audio track of course but it worked.

Forth point - Ripping feature has been out in the wilds for nearly a week now. And to suggest that you were unaware of the pending release means that you did not read a single post besides your own on the WODE support forum. It means that you did not do any searching at all. Why do I say that. Simple, because the support forum and even on this forum there have been regular updates as to the progress of the ripping feature. Discussion has been going on back and forth between the members and the beta testers about ripping speeds and problems encountered. But maybe that was to complex to find. It is only a sticky after all. Currently 372 replies and 11472 views.

Last thing - I think your experience with the WODE could have been better. I am just not sure how much of that negative experience is down to user and how much is down to the product. Only you will really know that I guess. What I can say fortunately is that the majority of users are happy with the product.

    Good luck and regards
