Got both. Installed the very day I got it. I've had a total of zero problems with it. (had to get the clip, D2B with cut legs and I didn't feel like messing with it.) It plays backup games on EVERY SINGLE disk I try, from very high quality DVDs to substandard DVD-RWs/+RWs and even no name DVD+R.

I've read about people using cheap DVRs getting crash and black screen issues with backup games. Not here. I'm even burning at 16x and have yet to make a coaster. Plays imports as well. So far, I've only tried 1 PAL game, but it loaded and appeared to be working.

All in all, it's a top mod chip at a bargain basement price. Thanks, CanadaMods and, especially, to Spyman!

i think i bought the wiizard with D2B cut leg clips too....off canada mods

have you done the new update to get onto the shopping chanel if so im guesing ur wiizard worked with the new update or u havent treid yet?

Took a total of 9 business days to arrive after it shipped. I'm in the US, so depending where you are and how long it takes to clear customs...who knows?

As far as the new update and the shopping channel, I don't really care. I don't use the shopping channel and really don't see a need to do the update, esp since I'm probably gonna be dabbling in a little "homebrew" as well.

So...I really don't have an answer for you.
