Question What kind of wires should I use?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to modifying all sorts of electronic devices.

I've just ordered a Wiikey2 chip and I'm planning to install it on my Wii, which I think has a GC2-D2B chipset with drive pins not cut.

What kind of wires should I use to do this? And am I likely to find these at a local electronics/wire shop or are they extra-special like the tri-wing screwdrivers?

    Thanks in advance.

You should be using 30 g kynar wire for your install. It might be hard to find it locally just call around. If you live in a bigger city you will be able to find it.

You might want to consider using two 30 g wires wrapped for the power and the ground. I use IDE cable for my power and ground.

I also did my very first install using all IDE cable since I was impatient. Since you don't have to solder point g and it is only a 5 wire install your options for wire are alot greater as your points are pretty big you need to solder.
