    Wiikey 2 Solderless issue

Hi guys, this is my first post.

I bought and installed my new sorderless wiikey 2 a couples of weeks back. The thing is that sometimes when I'm playing the screen goes black and says "system can not read disk, refer to owners manual" or something like that. I just eject the disk and put it back to continue playing. What can be the problem?

    tnx in advance

Does this make it while playing a game or in any moment?99% it is because either the clip or one of the solders of wiikey2 with the clip is bad.Try to stabilize the clip or make the leg if they are too dumped in the clip or check the solders of the the letters A to G

Same thing has been happening to me also, I have the wiikey2 solderless. It says version 3.4U.
It used to work perfect till a few days ago, it would play only the original games now, not the ones I made anymore. Now it says the same thing, "system can not read disk, refer to owners manual".

Try to look the clip inside first and then the solders of wiikey with the clip.
If the clip is ok try to stabilize with a special antielectric tape in order not to be very easy to get out of its place.

If my post was useful thank me

Im going to take it apart again tonight & see what happens when I try to play the game with the wii opened up. I will try to put more tape on the bottome of the clip like you said. Thank you,
    I hope thats the problem.

99% that will be the problem i had the same issue myself but me the problem was the A pin in connection with wiikey2-clip and when i was moving wii sometimes it was playing the backups whereas sometimes not

Do you think this happens beacse when I closed up the wii, I tightened the screws too tight & it forces the wiiclip to fall off?

I don't think so because by tightening the screws the whole drive comes closer to the mainboard of wii.If you don't tighten the screws theremaybe a slight move of the dvd drive and that may cause the clip to fall off.The right thing is to tighten as much as the screws are normally tightened. The last time i opened my wii, i put double tape in the clip and fixed the A pin in wiikey2.

I checked it with multimeter but although it did contact it was not addequate in order the whole information to pass through
