will wiikey 1 work on New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Galaxy II?

My wii is US version and I bought it a few years ago, modded it with wiikey 1 a long time ago. It's been working all the way. But since all i ever play were the super mario games, not too much of others, it's been a while since last time I used the console.

Does anybody know if the original wiikey 1 will work on the latest New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Galaxy 2, if I update my wiikey 1 firmware to the latest 1.99beta?
