hihi,
i have just installed my wii with wiikey v1
i burnt myself a copy of PAL WiiSports to play on the Jap-Mod Set.
at the front, the DVD as inserted and Wii showcase the WiiSport Preload Graphic, and upon pressing start, there was a black screen for a long long time..
Please assist in explaining the problem of the black stand-still screen
anyone can help ?
odds are you cant run it, or the file is messed up
i even change use region frrii to change to JAP region.
there's smth wrong man...
i am burning on Philip x8 DVD-R with x4 burn speed via IMGBURN... wasted 2 DVD already....

about 70% of off-region games work, even with use of progs like regionfrii
just use the proper version :P

yup, then i bricked a scrubbed /wii update removed ISO on a Phillip DVD-R with a LG H10N burner at X2 IMGBURN..
black screen of death.. damn....
i think there is no 100% explanation yet, just guesses to causes, i can understand about ios with new games that have been brickblocked, but wii sports? and other older games too, there must be an ios for those i dont know about
i think the IOS on disc only, first came into play with the Nintendo big 3 SMG, SSBB, and MKW
surprising i am able to load SMG without any problem..
hmm
so if i upgrade my firmware, got chance to read it ?
