    wiikey 1.9s - a noob summary

Ok, I have an old wii, before they started cutting the legs. I modded my wii about a year ago and the first game I ever burned worked. The second game I burned has smash bros and it said it needed to update. I looked into it and found out I might run a risk of bricking my wii. So I bought a ps3 and put my wii on a self.

I really want to get it going, so I just updated it with 1.9s (that went fine). What are the general concerns/procedures when it comes to burning games? Can I brick it? What about these updates? What about Pal/ntsc stuff?

I have an NTSC wii I think, I bought it in north america. I am using dvd-r like most sites seem to say. Can someone give me a brief breakdown of this, that would be super awesome.

    Thanks.

I remove the updates from the game iso's using WiU 1.1. You can also patch the game region with this too but I only ever use the correct region anyway.

    Hope this helps
