Thread: 2 weather channels / 2 news channels

Hi everyone,

after looking around the forum all day to try and solve my issues i have decided to ask a question.

I have a problem with my Wii, the problem of which has been brought up on the site here in other forums. I have a unathorised device detected, i have a error 001, i even have a corrupt software issue (once only). i have obtained somehow 2 weather channels and two news channels....?

None of my original games work, none of my back ups work.... i have watched the Wii update which i am guessing is the mistake i have made. I have asked the friend who chipped my Wii but he hasn't delt with the Wii since installing mine , so he doesn't know what to do. I have a PAL console.

Could someone point me in the right direction of what i need to do, or , if i have just ruined my console. I have a Wiikey installed. i have no idea of firmware of any thing of that nature, all i know is that it has had no updated firmware for the wiikey since i have had it. The Wii has offen updated online, only days ago..... hence the problem i guess.

If you have homebrew then I believe you can use AnyRegion changer to change the firmware of the same region as your Wii and the use the Duplicate Channel deleter app to remove the duplicated channels
