    Exclamation Wii + Wiikey + 3.3E + Update = Fullbrick... :-(

    hello m8s!

    i have a problem (sorry for my english iam a german)
    i have a wii, loaded on homebrew channel and some apps!
    my firmware was 3.3E

    now i decided to buy a wiikey and solder on the device!
    after this, i put a burned dvd game in the device, and he
    asked me if i want a update... i am stupid i know... but i
    have done this.

    update and restart --- black window - fullbrick

    can i solve my problem myself, or can only nintendo help me?!
    or can somebody from the forum help me ???
    if you can help me, this is nice!

    What was the game and region of the game you installed?
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    have a PAL wii.

    the game was fifa 10 in PAL

    I think it was a game with the updates taken out of it. So it was an empty update which can cause bricks. It happen to tristan a few weeks back.

    There was a disk that you can insert I think. Its a copy version of the dvd that nintendo uses to repair wii's. Im sure you heard of it. Nintendo left it in someone's wii after they fixed it.

    uff... i hope i can find such a dvd...
    you think this works?
    they only insert this dvd and fix it ?
    no hardware changes ???

    Im not really sure. He was also softmodded so I wasnt sure on the whole process. Just give it a try. I don't remember the name of the disc though.

    Does anyone know the name of the disk as it would be a great backup to use
