LU67 is new, it probably has a D2nothing/D3 drive, which means only a 4th gen chip would work. These attach to the ribbon cable of the drive and only support 3x disc speed. Perhaps you have a chip, but it is not a wiikey2. Open the thing up and look inside. You could randomly try the various means the load the config of other chips. The guy that sold me my wii said this is a wiikey 2 modchipped wii.
So, yes, it should work at 6x.
My wii is one of the newers one: LU67.
So I think this possibilities:
1. I got ripped off and got another chip Wii Drive Chip Database[/url] that it's not wiikey 2.
2. The wiikey 2 does not work @ 6x on LU67.
Any way, i'm screwed
Payed a lot and got a system that does not work.
You could run your serial # through this database and see if you can figure out what drive you have

So, should I buy a newer modchip ?
why don't you open it up to see which chip they placed inside. It could be a bad solder or clip.

Do you think a bad soldered modchip would play everything ok but the cinematic choppy ? hehehe
I think the chip is ok, what I think is the problem is that the maybe it's not a wiikey 2 since none of the config discs worked.
You could just go to the store and have them show you how to make that config disk work.

I just would like to know if people that have the wiikey 2 had any problem in the openning of super mario galaxy, WarioWare: Smooth Moves or castlevania judgment.
Or this is only happening to me and wiikey 2 is a very good chip.
I think I've found the problem with my wiikey 2 config disc.
I've downloaded metal gear solid twin snakes for nintendo game cube and it does happen the same thing as the config disc.
My wii can't play nintendo game cube discs.
Do you guys have any idea why ?
What happend is that when I load the game, the game cube logo is there, I play start and I get a black screen and my wii remote stop working. It get unsyncronized.
Can somebody please help me here ?
