    Wii Key 2 W/WiiClip Issues

I've successfully installed a wii key 2 via the wii clip on my personal wii. However, i've tried to do the same for a friend and have had nothing but issues. Initially the issue was that the games wouldn't eject consistently, especially when a game would not load. I switched out clips and chips, and everything was working wonderfully while the wii was apart. I put it back together and games that previously wouldn't load, would load, and all eject issues were resolved. However, after about 30 mins of playing and turning the console off and back on, games stopped working. All eject issues are still gone, but most games will show up in the wii menu screen, but once they are clicked on and going through their introduction screens, I get a message saying, "Please insert (whatever game) into the Wii". Does anybody have any suggestions please.

Sounds like you might have a bent pin somewhere that is causing a short. I would inspect everything carefully and possibly post some pictures.

Garry554, tell your friend that he can ship his Wii to me to get a pro installation for
only $40. plus shipping $15. ~ I would remove Wiikey2 off the WiiClip and install it the
way it's supposed to be installed

I have the same exactl problem, I installed mine like the picture below but still seems like the chip shuts off when ever the game starts up. Check out my threads to see pictures.

    I'm with spiktsu,

Circular file that damn clip and solder it in right. There are pros like myself and spiktsu to send it to if you don't want to try it yourself.

Remember, a Wii is 250 bucks USD, do you really want to damage it trying to install a chip yourself? For a small fee, us Professionals can help you out. Most of us have websites where you can read feedback from other customers like yourself.

    We are here to help!
