    Exclamation Wiikey2 and DVDx problems!

    I am having issues with my wiikey2 not letting me use homebrew applications that use DVDx on my d2e wii (3.2U), like mplayer (all of them) and my beloved emulators.I have been having troubles since I installed the chip a few months ago.
    And also I have a few iso's that don't like to load through disc channel, they just reset my wii so i have to load them via Gecko OS, and some dont load at all ie. SSBM. I don't know whats wrong, might it be a because something may be soldered incorrectly?

    Can someone please help to get a solution for either or both these problems?

    excessive dvd play will kill ur expensive Wii. worth?
    those iso's love to load by GeckoOS just bcoz they are out-of-region. they hold different passports; don't u awared ? u can check it's nationality with ImgBurn:
    Mode --> write;
    Tool --> drive -->sector viewer

    as long as u can load iso with GeckoOS, ur wiikey2 is working.
    if a few won't read, may be media issue (ie. burn at low speed, dvd-r brand)

    btw, wiikey2 need updates

    All of my backups are ntsc-u and they are on Verbatims DVDs and TDK (TDK prolly cheap) latest fw btw. Anyways I'm more interested in getting my Wiikey2 to work with DVDx.

    You can set it to 3x but its running at 6x by default, and I tryed putting them on 3x. Is there something other I should install like a cIOS or Patchmii I heard so much about?

    Did you find out anything regarding this? I'm trying to install DVDx to run Disc Dumper, and keep getting errors when I try to install patchmii core. Thanks in advance!

    Well i fixed the DVDx by installing it through the Advancd option, then I patched IOS254 and everything runs perfectly now. But what you are asking for is a cIOS from Waninkoko. Try cIOSCorp that should work for you. And know if your running Disc dumper as a channel it glitches out alot so try HomeBrew Channel.
