Which soiderless wiikey 2 do i need?

    Heres the situation.

Had problems with my wiis dvd drive so i sent it to nintendo to be fixed. They fixed it and returned it and everything works fine, but how do i know which drive is on the inside? according to my serial number its DMS but they could have swapped it out with something else.I assume there is no way to tell except for opening it up and looking so im asking is once its open what am i looking for to tell me what the drive is?

Also is the Wiikey to the best chip out right now? If not what is and why?
I was gonna go with the drivekey but its kinda pricey and i wanted a cheaper solution.

wiikey 2 is the best chip when you look at the price. There are better chips maybe but the wiikey 2 runs great and since the eject issue has recently been improved I am very happy with them.

PM me if you want me to send you a wiikey 2 or if you want a drivekey as I can probably get you a better price.

Only way to find out forsure is if you open the drive. Since you want solderless I would highly reccomend the drivekey because clips are poopy and can cause problems in the future. It is worth the extra cash to get a drivekey and have an easier install in my opinion.

Thanks for help. How much can you get a drivekey for?
I was also reading that some drivekeys werent able to play original copy games? Is that still an issue?

I am pretty sure the new versions have that fixed. Can someone else comment on that?

I know there is a version going around that doesnt have this problem. Quite a few people have been testing them.

You could always go for the Wasabi DX aswell which is the same concept. Knowing N they would have put a nice new epoxy drive into your console when you sent it back for repair.
