Help, Can my Wii be chipped? *noob question*

    Hello,

I have just purchased a Japanese Wii with the serial number "LJF14692984" but I am unsure if I can install a Wii-key 2 chip that was previously installed in my now full-bricked USA Wii.

    1. Can I install wii-key 2 in my Japanese Wii?
    2. Can I install a Wii-key 2 previously installed on a console from a different region?

    Thanks

    unless u purchased the latest D2/nothing wii, u can re-use the wiikey2 fm us_wii.

visit the wiikey website for detail of settings, if u've regional concerns.

FYI-- i got a Jap wii and a US wii. both use the same modchip. connections are the same.

p.s. keep ur US_wii, it'll be recoverable someday.

Sorry, but this is why I have dubbed this thread a "noob question". However this isn't really a question about the Wii-key specifically but rather can my wii be chipped hence that is why I have supplied my serial

I purchased my Wii from the internet, it works for me because here in Australia games usually release late.
