just be very careful, and if you are unsure like i was send it to someone *RECOMMENDED* Professional Installers / Stores

i know spiktsu will help out as well as anyone in there, its sometimes better to swallow your pride and leave it to a professional

Why don't you order a mod clip ??
Most home diy'ers will only have 1mm solder and an iron with a tip of about 6mm.......... soldering is easy BUT it also makes it easy to stuff it up

If you have never done any SMD soldering then dont try you will probably end up screwing things up and very likely lifting the pad from that G point.

Also it is worth noting that you dont need to access the G point there are alternative points that are easier to solder to and there is even some reports that the alternate points fix the eject issue a lot of people get. Google for wiikey alternate g point to find out more and get pics

for the G point, just look at Plexo's thread about fixing the d2e eject issue
for the alternate point. I used it and it work great for me.

If you are not a solderer then get someone else to do it m8.
It all sounds easy and great to do yourself but so easy to cock it up LoL.
I did my own but then have been soldering for years modding defferent consols (just the wii now).
Just think you will have to go buy an old board before going on to the wii.
    Time money and effort.
Unless you are going into the modding game that is

    take a look here:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/genuine-wiik...wiikey-v2.html
    for the alternate G point.

What I did was solder all the wires on the modchip first. Then solder the power and ground to the dvd board then the rest are just on what order you feel like, but i would do the shorter wire first.
