Okay, I have tried emailing wiikey and other forums and still no answer to this question. I caonnot get the rescue disc to boot no matter what I do, I have tried different media and burn speeds and everything else including changing read speeds and using backup channels. I cannot get this disc to read or do anything to boot. Does anybody have an answer to this?

If you got it pre soldered from modchipcentral then they don't usually include the sticker. Modchipcentral is legit and I highly doubt they have sold you a clone.

I would open up your wii. Disconnect the power wire and then cycle your wii with an original wii sports. Then plug the mod chip back in and put your original in again (like you were supposed to) and then try your config disc.

If you have homebrew installed this would be your issue. Starfall blocks all updates which it sees your config disc as an update disc. Turn updates on from starfall if you have homebrew or try the power wire and reinstalling it.

Let us know if that works.

yep, did all of the above and the rescue disc does nothing and alot of PAL games won't load. The config disc works fine, it's the rescue disc that doesn't boot. I emailed wiikey so we'll see if I get a response.

Have you tried reburning it? Maybee it is a bad disk?

I put my Rescue file on using the GCOS method.

    Brick Victim

Hi, this is my first attempt at anything on a forum so i'm not sure if I'm doing this right. Don't know how to start a new post , so excuse me if I'm infringing here

My wii is currently bricked. If i turn on the power, the green light comes on. The disc drive begins operation but nothing else. No, health warning and so far no sound. The television does respond to an external signal though.

I've tried pressing the reset button after pressing the power, but no strange menu appears. I'm in dire need of assistance here.

Is it possible to somehow load a disc that can possbly save my wii. A firmware update may be the victim here. and I'm a total noob can anyone help me. Thankyou
