I had just gotten a Wii with WiiFusion installed... Before I do anything stupid can I softmod the wii with the wiifusion still attached or should I uninstall it then proceed with softmodding?
Reason is that I want USB HDD.

you can have both.
You NEED both if you want to dump your own games.

Just don't install wiigator, it is the only soft-mod to directly affect a wiikey fusion.
hey. I have a wiikey fusion installed and it kept freezing on my when trying to play games from HD. now i did the tutorial "remove softmod" and now trying to softmod again. however.... i'm having some troubles when i go to install ISO58-64-v6175 and ISO61-64-v5661 it gives me error ( -1035 ) for both.
I"m stuck... I have checked out the error index and did the solution for cause 1 and still nothing.... now im not quite sure what to do with cause 2 solution.
Does anybody have an input and or help with this. I'm going crazy and the wife's on my ass to get the bloody thing working again so she can do her things.

There was no reason to remove the softmod. just follow the softmod any Wii guide. it will just overwrite whatever was there before.
That is the problem now. I am following that guide and when i do step Chapter 1, Part 1, 4.0-4.2- Bannerbomb v2 i get the -1035 on the wad files. should i just continue with the tutorial and not worry about that or what.

The 1035 error happens when you attempt to install an IOS with a lower revision number than the one you currently have, therefore you already have those two IOS'. Yes it is safe to continue with the guide.

No prob. :) We all understand how it can be a little scary at first.
scary, I mean the fusion and a softmod. I've softmoded my wii back when i signed up to the site so ive been doing all this for a while but still something things are new. I've been updating my weeee when needed so i know how things work but like they say "learn something new everyday" right.
I just wasn't sure if i screwd something up installing the fusion . But all good now softmoded again and everything works. Will try some games again later to see if anything freezes like prior to my little adventure (unmod - remod). If anything i will shout out loud again for help.
I know i can trust every1 here so it's all good, no problems asking for help if i need to.
