Unhappy 50% of black screens and hangs with Wiikey Fusion

Hello everybody. I'm starting this thread since I've run out of options.
I have an NTSC Wii (4.1U downgraded from 4.3U) with Wiikey Fusion (fw 1.5). 1 out of 2 games hang the console or throw a black screen.
I'm using a Sandisk class 4 8 GB SD card. Homebrew channel is installed. I'm using WBFS Manager v4 to manage and transfer ISOs to the SD card. I tried WBFS Manager with both "transfer only game partition" and "transfer all partitions" options. Using DopMii I checked every IOS has the latest version, only unused/old ones being stubbed. BootMii works ok. I did a full NAND backup. I'm using PriiLoader to block updates too (in addition to WF own update blocker).
Games that work: Arc Rise Fantasia NTSC, Monster Hunter Tri NTSC, Okami NTSC, Wii Sports Resort PAL, FIFA 2011, Paper Mario PAL, Smackdown vs Raw 2009 NTSC, Zelda Twilight Princess NTSC, Mario Galaxy 1.
Games that don't: New Super Mario Bros NTSC/PAL, Zelda Twilight Princess PAL, Shrek Forever After PAL, Mario Party 8 PAL

I just don't know what more to do.

New super mario bros is a problem game, but if your chip is on the latest firmware, it should be ok.
    Look here-->http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-games/28...ario-bros.html
And all the other games that don't work are out of region! You need to configure your chip to region free!

Thanks for replying. I will try that post for NSMB.
Arc Rise Fantasia and Paper Mario are PAL titles and they work. And no matter the chip region setting. I tried enabling and disabling it to no avail. It's the same. I've even downgraded the system menu to 4.1U since 4.3U does region blocking.

I've read that NSMB post before. It puzzled me since it says: "all newer modchips should run the game fine". And I have one of the latest modchips with the latest firmware.

Those games that don't work must be a bad dump/rip!
Try re- ripping the iso from your originals, and burning
them again with IMG Burn using good media,
like verbatim DVD-R's at no more than 4x speed.
And as for NSMB, did you patch the iso? Because
the iso needs to be an unpatched one to work with hardmods!

@ nightstah, it's good to see you my friend!

My fault, sorry for double posting. I'm falling asleep.

Good point about bad ISOs. Is there a way of checking the health of an ISO? I think it must be hard but...

I'll look for better ISOs. Don't know where to start, though.

One more issue. I used Lego Indiana Jones to do the exploit and downgrade the system menu. I noticed the game worked ok so I saved it for future play. Now I try it and it loads but gets stuck after the titles, when a flying plane appears on the bottom left portion of the screen.
    Odd...

This is most likely your issue and not a problem with the ISOs themselves.

Thanks for your reply. Remember I'm not using DVDR media, only SD card with Wiikey Fusion

So that doesn't stop you from ripping your games and adding them to your SD card instead of burning them. If you are not doing so how are you obtaining your ISOs?

Found this on the Wiikey website! Take note of the second paragraph.
    Wii Game Compatibility
Like all modchips from the Wiikey team, the Wiikey fusion will work with every single games from your region. There are no patches needed, no fixes to ISO, the modchip can boot any game without errors. You plug it in, and forget about it
Cross region compatibility is a little bit different. The Wiikey Fusion will allow 50~80% of games to work from other regions (backup or original). The % changes from 1 region to another, and is the same as any other modchip from the team.
The product will also allow Gamecube backups, and Gamecube games from other regions to work.
EDIT: Sorry, hard to see paragraphs after I squished it up lol.
