Cool Wiikey Fusion SD Card Speed

When using the Wiikey Fusion, it may be important to take note of the speed/class of the SD card. For instance, Metroid Other M DOES NOT WORK with a class 4 card, but WILL WORK on a class 6 card (it requires the higher transfer rate). Also, be sure to keep your Fusion firmware up to date.

Another issue is adding game(s) with WBFS manager. WBFS manager act little strange if more than one game is transferred at a time.

Wiikey fusion + 4.3e + unable to play with wii remote controllers

    Hi, guys.
I have installed wiikey fusion into my wii v4.3e for PAL region.
After installation I updated wiikey firmware to 1.5.
For SD card I use 8gb SanDisc with 10th level of speed.
I prepared it with WBFS manager 4.0 and it formats card and install games without errors.
Gamecube channel runs normal, I am able to choose menu item such games or update firmaware.
BUT my wii remote controllers are not work. It's related only for Gamecube channel, in main menu controllers work normal.
Also I tryed it in licenced WII Sports(it was included with wii) - it work too - I mean after install wiikey.
I tried to sync controller a lot of times but unsuccessfully.
Thanks for advance, any advices will be useful!

There are lot of info on how to use the Wiikey Fusion when you are in GC channel. You can either have a GC controller connected or use the reset button, one push for scroll and a longer one for choose.

    Thanks for your answer.
I am able to choose items in menu and run game.
But when game is running my wii remote controllers stop to respond.
It's like game is starting, starting animation is done and in the center of the game screen view with text "Press A to start game" or "Press start button" or "Choose player" or something else(related to the game I tried). At this point I am able just restart console because remote controllers like "dead". But after restart and before running Gamecube channel all is ok.
Remote controllers are normal, original. They work with main menu and Wii Sports game without problem.
Please, clarify for me some points.
Is it possible use remote controllers in Gamecube channel? If yes - could you provide an example of any games which work for you?
Or do I need additionaly buy the GC wired controller?
    Thanks for advance!

You cannot use wiimote in gamecube channel.
Have you checked the battery on the wiimote. Check the receiver connection inside the Wii, sometimes it loosen up when you disassemble the Wii.

Once you choose a game in Wiikey Fusion and press reset and Wii restart with the game chosen you should be able to play that game with the wiimote. All the game I have/had worked fine.

    Hello everyone,

For Sergii Gladun. Did you solve your problem with Wii remote, because I have the same problem with my console?

wii (2 years old) v4.3e for PAL region
After installation I updated wiikey firmware to 1.5
Wiikey Fusion (Dip switch) is configured for Europe

    Answer from wiidriver:
Check the receiver connection inside the Wii

I don't think it's a connection problem else the orginal games didn't work.

    Thanks for your help

    Ca

Ernie, the like the guy above said the remote does not work in the gamecube channel.
hit reset to cycle through options, hold reset to select option.

anyways, I just installed fusion on my Wii 4.3 and update 1.5... It gave me some headaches because I thought it had region overide and I was trying to use pal games. Once I got a USA game it worked good....

This is my 2nd modded wii. The first one I had was the d2 pro and it worked excellent. Played EVERYTHING and never had a glitch or a hiccup.

My Theory about fusion is the fact that it is up-datable easily wiikey can put out a less then perfect product and basically "fix it latter" with updates. Not a great way of doing things if you ask me, but it does the job.

Im using a class 6, 8 gig, core micro card and it works great and it cost me nine bucks... lol.
