So if I experience system halts, I have to softmod. I have a guide on softmodding and I am confused about what is considered a softmodded Wii. Can I stop after installing hackmii?

If your going to do minimal softmoding, you stop after step 4 of the 4.2 guide. depending on which 4.3 softmod guide you use, you can stop after the part where you delete the troublesome IOS.

I used this to locate and delete the troublesome parts for the 4.2 I had (Step 4 - Delete The Stubbed IOS):

After this you can pretty much stop if you only want a hardmod running. 4.3 will slightly be different on the softmod.

After a night of testing I want to clear up a few things. First off, I have a brand new black Wii with 4.3U. I just installed the Wiikey Fusion. It came with SW 1.0, I updated it to 1.4. The 4 dip switches were set wrong so I made sure they were set to USA standard before I installed it. I am able to play ISOs off of the SD card without being softmodded. I have tested Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros, and Mario Galaxy (all ISOs are the correct region for my Wii) and they all work fine, no black screens, no modchip detections. The only issue I have had so far was on SW 1.0, the Wii would detect the modchip when creating a Mii, on SW 1.4 the modchip is not detected and functions flawlessly. In summary, Wiikey Fusion w/ SW 1.4 can play ISOs from the SD card without softmodding the Wii.

I found problem, i fixed only half of it, but it works now.
The problem was in fiusion configuration, someting changed booting off, i newer entered fusion configuration panel before, i turned it on. Now when i select game from sd card and push power putton it turns wii off and when i turn wii manualy on agaen it launches selected game. When i select game over neogamma and i push power putton it reboots launches selected game normaly.

You should be holding down the reset button not the power button with the ISO selected to get the Wii to boot with the game loaded.
