Black screen after launching newer disc/iso games from Disc channel.

Background information on my Wii console. Currently at 3.2U system software. Originally purchased on launch day back in 2006. I properly installed my Wiikey Fusion and updated to 1.2

Older backups like Mario Galaxy part 1, Super Smash Brothers load and play fine both SD card and DVD-r method.

However newer titles like New Super Mario Bros., Sin and Punishment 2, Fast Food panic, Mario Galaxy 2, etc. have problems. Games load and show up on the disc channel. After I launch the game it goes straight to a black screen and the wii hangs up. From there I would have to hold the power button the shut the console down.

I really want to run the newer titles. Thats originally why I decided to buy the wiikey Fusion because it advertise that it can run the newer problem titles that have protection. Also in the future I have the option to return the wii back to it's pristine state by simply removing the modchip. I don't know if I have to softmod or update my console to get these games to run. Any help is appreciated.

Based on the reply....So it looks like I have to patch the IOS and to do that I have to install Homebrew channel and so forth.

I bought this chip as a plug and play solution. Wiikey team even stated no softmod required. What a false advertisement. I purchased this $58 chip....what are the benifits if I have still have to softmod.
