    Fusion not working

Hi all, Just fitted Wiikey fusion to my Wii, when I power up the blue light on the modchip flashes once and goes out.
The Wii then starts up ok as normal but the modchip aint working, I have checked all the connections and every thing is ok.

    Wii chip set is GC2-D1A
    Wii firmwere is 4.2E

Need help ASAP as this is driving me nuts

    Cheers

    Ian

    Wiikey Fusion

At first I thought mine wasn't working at all either. Make sure you have SD card connected (some distributers sent the wrong cable, that happened in my case. Place your cable flat on a counter or table and make sure that the silver contacts are not both on the same side of the ribbon)

Without an SD card loaded with games it won't even appear like the modchip is there in the Wii menu. I used WBFS Manager to put a couple games on an SD card and have it in the slow when turning on the Wii. Now the wiikey fusion "gamecube" game pops up. Way nice chip, I had my wii drive laser go out and got this instead of fixing the laser.

Just fitted the Fusion to my own wii and i have to say it works great. I have found though that when a SD card is inserted into the card reader the dvd drive disables itself. As soon as i eject the SD card the drive works again.

    Wrong side of the cable?
Can you please explain what you are referring to?
I installed the fusion, and real discs work, but even when I have a correctly imaged sd care plugged in it still says "please insert a disc" in the disc menu.
Is there supposed to be a light on the SD card reader?
Should any lights come on on the chip itself?

    Thanks for the help!

I'm in the same boat. Just the one quick blue flash on the chip. I found that by opening the ribbon cable hold-down clip on the host side and wiggling the ribbon cable I can get the blue light to come on full...as well as the red on depending on the way I wiggle the cable. I tested with an ohm meter and I definitely have continuity between all the pins when the clip is closed fully. Does the light on your sd card reader turn on ever? Mine doesn't
