as time goes, as im moderating this forum, ive noticed... the more i post helpful guides, the caliber of people drops more and more and more and more, nothing wrong with being one of them, but its becoming more and more, of a problem!

since many people dont seem to understand simple, rules or guidelines, since our COMPLETE staff is basically 5 people... we added in a few minor things like the MK can only PM staff so on and so forth... but this isnt enough to make people accept basic rules!

now in addition to people not caring out our rules, they decide that, anyone can help them, reguardless...

either of which, are really needed, and just require more effort on everyone else's part... sadly this isnt the only thing, everyone thinks their problem is the biggest, and GREATEST, and MOST ORIGINAL problem ever...

the final example im gonna use is this msn convo i had just a moment ago.. this guy had a banner brick, since to fix the problem... you need a modchip he bought one, this problem was posted here, atleast 2 weeks ago.... when he finally got the chip installed, he decides to message me, asking for what to do... i reply asking, he had 2 weeks to figure it out... you didnt search, and you had weeks to do it?! he replies hes busy, with school and stuff... so he has enough time to do it, but not enough to figure out how to do it.....

please do not force your problems upon others, im not just sitting here for the only need to help you out, nor is anyone else.. please remember if you dont have the time, you SHOULDNT BE HACKING... hacking isnt about asking others its doing for yourself, if you want that life style, buy a modchip and dont touch homebrew! i got a lot going on too, but i get on the forum when i can... just like everyone else, so please respect the right others have to not waste their time, so everyone is happy in the end!

I hear your pain, and will admit when i first joined the forum weeks ago i was like who this Admiral dude getting ticked off at all the question that are been asked.
HOWEVER after browsing the forum almost everyday since then i can now understand why, the same question are always been asked.

I've spent allot of time on the forum searching and reading post to help me do the "mods" that i want to do to my Wii and have successfully managed to do each one without starting a new topic asking How. I have asked some question in current topic but even that was only like one or two question.

Thanks to this forum alone i have managed to do a few things. Just to name some.

• Install Homebrew on 3.4E
• Downgrade to 3.2E
• Get backup luancher to work + have it as a Wii channel
• Use Ftp to load file onto my SD Card
• Dump game in ISO via Wi-Fi
• Get games such as Animal Crossing to work
• Get my Wii to work like a Media Center
• Generally get a better understanding of Homebrew

So a Big THANK YOU from me is in order, as there is no way i would of had all that done without this forum, and all within a few week. I hadn't even herd of HomeBrew prior to that, and im no hacker or anything like that either.

I guess my points is to back up whats been said if you search enough you will find what your after, and completely understand why the Moderators are starting to really get ticked off, epically if you are going to demand there time

well if others read this great...if not here and in multiple places on the forum...not even to mention the rules...announcements ..etc and they screw up...We'll we don't want those members anyways...

im new to the forum so i hope you dont mind my comments

Having been a moderator then main moderator on a large nzb forum (20,000 odd members)for 2 years i can understand why you guys get hacked off

admiral victorinox i dont think you need to be sorry in any way shape or form for you post topic....
you sometime have to be blunt to get peoples to understand what you are trying to say and the reasons for saying what you say..
there are to many lazy people out there who just want to type a question and expect an answer straight away .
they can not and will not take the time to search for the answers which in 99.9% of cases have probebly already been covered somewhere on the forum.

its also time people understood that staff members are not there for there beck and call .

there is heck of a lot to do for 5 people (The Staff) on this forum so its time these people sat back and had a good think before typing such pathetic questions.

there are people out there who need real help with there wii's
not just people who are to lazy to do a simple search


now as for the comments made theres nothing wrong with being gay

thats not the kind of member anyone would want to help with a shocking attitude like that...

People please remember these guys/girls are providing you with a wealth of in formation and help all in the one place FREE OF CHARGE

i just forgot to put that in my post lol
i used to get it all the time, and it does tend to get ya down
and it eventually means you need to make a post as you did

i then had the same problem on msn where they ask for help
which i always gave if i could .then you never hear from the again untill the next bit of help was needed (but i got rid of those idiots now )
