LetterBomb problems on black 4.3U wii

I just bought a new black wii over xmas, system code 4.3u, and after opening the letter bomb, when it asks to press 1 to continue, it just hangs, and I have to hold the power on the console to turn it off.

    Anyone else have similar experience?

Are you using a 1 or 2 gig SD card, formatted to fat32?

Did you select the correct region (eg 4.3U) when specifying your MAC address?

I made sure to use 4.3U for the system menu version (which is the default), and I'm using a 2GB Ultra II 2.0GB SD card.
Looking at the properties, it looks like it "File system: FAT". Does it need to be FAT32?

I don't think so. I can't remember what my SD card was when I first used it for LetterBomb, but I think it was just FAT.

Try reformatting (full) with this: PanasonicSDFormatter.rar

Thanks a lot BluPhant - that did the trick! working beautifully now.

Strange how a full format fixed this problem.

That tool has proven useful many, many times over. It is specifically designed to help SD cards. Hackmii is finicky.

    Glad you're sorted.
