you just need to buy an enclosure for it and assuming it is compatible then yes.

For a laptop hdd .... you need a 2.5 hdd enclosure.... for a normal tower PC you need a 3.5 hdd enclosure.... make sure its AC powered and usb 2.0

    1. will my SONY DW-Q120A HD work with this enclosure: Amazon.com: Connectland USB 2.0 External Enclosure for 3.5-Inch SATA/IDE Hard Drive CL-ENC35008: Electronics ?

    2. is the hard drive i just mentioned compatible with wiiflow? (i went through through the compatibility list over at,USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp , and it wasnt even listed there)

edit: i forgot to mention that my hd is a 3.5..i just dont know if it'll fit in the enclosure i posted a link to..i mean my hd looks so bulky and that thing looks so slim lol

One caution is that the directions noted that large drives could overheat in the case if used for a long time. The case is not vented. My drive was large, but I only use it now for short periods of times to do backups; it's mostly powered down.
one of the review had that in it.

We have a list on this site for compatibility too: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...lity-list.html

if it is not on any of the list that does not mean it wont work, it just means that no one had reported either way.
