    Wii freezing on channel screen...

(Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong spot or similar)

Hi, my wii has been going fine for about the last year but the last few days, not so much. I turn it on and get the safety screen, I press "A" and the channels screen comes up. From this point I have about 2-6 seconds before the console freezes and I have to manually press power button on console to turn it off. I searched on here and google and didn't really find any definite answer/solution. (maybe I suck at searching?) Anyways I tried the "hold + and - at safety screen" I did and same thing, it freezes after a few seconds of saying it's in maintenance mode. I do have a wiikey2 solderless chip installed. I tried removing the chip but the system still freezes. Anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong? I did a syscheck after reading how others post it. Any information/help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

You don't have to post about this issue again, willowstick's thread will eventually be read by someone who knows about the issue.

That post was pretty old to have zero replies. Wanted to make my own with my system info check.
