Modded my virgin Wii. Just checking I did everything right

Hi all just another thread about softmodding my wii. I had a virgin wii an decided to try mod my first wii. I took it slow an was gentle

I read through the following guide http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

    An did the following

    - 4.3 Pal letterbomb hack - NO issues everything was fine.
    - Then installed the homebrew channel an bootmii - NO issues there
    - DID NOT do the NAND Backup (could not figure out how to do this) help would be great
    - Installed the Modpack an CIOS-Pack an Wii shop channel update. Did not do the Wii IOS update as I have 4.3 (Is this correct)
    - Verify Checksums everything was fine
    - Did wad install - All was fine
    - In the hack guide wasn't sure about the 4.1 bit as i have 4.3 so I skipped it. If its in regards to region free gaming I dont care for this.
    - Installed priiloader. enabled all the recommend blocks so my wii doesnt do any disc updates etc.
    - Formatted SD card an installed the App-Pack an put in the SD Card

I now have the following channels on the wii
    Backed up HBC
    Neogamma
    USB Loader GX
    Configufable USB Loader
    Wiiflow
    Homebrew Channel

Just wanted to Double check I did everything right. I didnt put in the parts where I was formatting the SD card after as it seems like common sense.

Also had a backed up copy off some of my gamecube games I keep packed away. Got one to boot with Neogamma

Thanks for your time an sorry if this is another noob post

I think this is the part I missed, I skipped it as I saw 4.1 an was on 4.3

Select the folder "System Menu 4.1" -press A
Never Uninstall IOS, or SM you will brick your wii
Never Uninstall IOS, or SM you will brick your wii
Press (1) to "Install all Wads" - Press A
3 wads should install without error
    "Press any button to continue"

Be sure all 3 wads install, very important
This installs a version patched SM, which I recommend. If this bothers you, don't do it.

Never Uninstall IOS, or SM you will brick your wii
Never Uninstall IOS, or SM you will brick your wii

    WARNING:
This is a version patched System Menu, running on a version patched
cios60. NEVER replace cios60-v54321 with ios60-6174. Doing so will
brick your wii if you update from Nintendo. Never update from Nintendo, don't MUCK up cios60-v54321. You have
    been warned.
Press B to go back a folder

If updating IOS, Select "IOS-Update" -Press A

Press (1) to "Install all Wads" - Press A
25 wads should install without error
Be sure all 25 wads install, kinda important
IOS are only used by channels and discs loaded from the disc channel. Most of them are
    never needed.

    "Press any button to continue"

If updating wii channels, like the shop channel, Select "Channels" -Press A
Press (1) to "Install all Wads" -Press A
All channel wads should install without error
    "Press any button to continue'

Press 2 to load the MMM App Manager
You should now be in the App Manager of MMM
    Launch "HomeBrew Channel Loader"
    The Homebrew Channel loads

    so what are my options??

yes because u do not need to update the ios, u have not read the guide very well!

to check the system menu version u need to go to the wii home screen, got to the setting option in the bottom left then go to settings and the sm should be displayed in the top right corner
