Games unable to run from USB harddisk but no problem running from DISC.

    I have a wii v3.2u..

Ripped my games onto the harddisk.
Some games are able to run on the harddisk itself and the problem is some games load and hang while loading up in the beginning..
When I use the disc to play the game. No problem..

Can anyone advice what could be the cause?

Have a look at the Mod any wii guide, I'm guessing you may need an update. 3.2 is quite an old level.

back ups use cIOS to play so your softmod is more than likely outdated as suggested above. the any wii guide would be your easiest solution.

I have updated my wii to 4.1u.

Still unable to play some games thru ext harddisk. No issue with playing from DISC.

    This is my system check.

Just a quick question.. I notice the upgrade is to 4.1u?

I thought the latest was 4.3?
What the update which I download from the guide does not have the 4.3?
Any reason why we avoiding it?

4.1 is the defacto preferred menu. 4.2 and 4.3 do nothing except kill homebrew. Read the newbies thread in my sig.
