Just a bit of advice.... Brick recovery is waaaaaaaay more complicated then installing a theme....

A lot of users have made paper weights from installing themes.. so before you do be sure you can recover.. or atleast be ready to spend some cash on a flasher or a new Wii...

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

I already did and it's fine. I'm just looking for the best way to return to the old system menu if I ever wanted to. But thanks anyway.

Following the whole ANY Wii guide would work. Installing just the SM wad I told you about would work. In either case, you definitely should make a nand backup.

Is the wad file in the ANY WII tutorial and can I just reinstall that and and skip reinstalling priiloader? Or would I have to install it again to reapply the system hacks?

I have a wii that I modded using modmii, just to check it out cause I have never used it. It had an option for a custom system menu theme that I installed. (By the way, I was not impressed with modmii at all), It seemed like it didn't finish everything correctly.

But anyway I just re did the mod with the softmod any wii guide this morning. It got rid of the custom system menu no problems.

I also agree with cjizzle, everyone should have a nand backup and priiloader.

EDIT-when you install a system menu it erases priiloader, follow the whole guide.

Yes, the file is in the NTSC U MODPACK, in the 4.1 folder. This will remove priiloader, so I highly suggest you install it again. We have a guide for priiloader HERE. Dont overwrite your existing hacks_hash.ini files.

EDIT: And player beat me again...LMAO
