Try using IOS 248. Works for me. I also use Waininkoko's WAD Manaer 1.7.
Give it a shot and let me know if it works.

If you follow the softmod any wii guide and when you extract the wads to your sd card in chapter 2 just add the wad for the channel you want to install in the wad folder with them. Or if you want to you can install that wad after the guide is finished with wad manager, because you will have the correct cIOS for it to install.

WHY WHY WHY do you continue doing everything EXCEPT for what you are told to do? I just dont get it!!! You keep asking questions, then ignore the advice and go screwing around with stuff that very well could brick your Wii!

EDIT: Also, you have been warned by playerkp about further posting until you follow the instructions already given. Now its starting to look like you are just spamming the forum...

Yeah, go ahead and semi-brick/brick your Wii...

Sit down, shut up and read this:
Brick Prevention - Things you should never do!
Done? Make sure you read ALL of it.

After that, why don't you look at the advice you've already been given by playerkp420 and cjizzle, and follow that?
(HINT: Follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide. If the guide says to format your Wii, go ahead, but it doesn't.)

Sometimes you have to be direct and yell at them...
