my wii flashes at me when I load games from usbloader gx2.0

Help! I have softmodded a 4.3u wii using mauifrog's guide. However when I try to load my usb HDD using usbloader gx 2.0 I am having some issues. The loader will boot up just fine and then show me the list of my games. When I click on the game it shows the disc like normal but when I select the game to play it immediately goes to a black screen and the wii itself flashes the blue light at me. I have went through every step 3 times to make sure that I am not missing anything. Hard drive boots up just fine on another wii. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you got the correct cIOS installed to play the game? Have you got the correct cIOS installed to run USB Loader GX? has it worked before?

yes it happens with any and all ios used. I have installed all ios patches and wads from softmod guide. The hard drive works on same wii with cfg loader just fine. I may be missing a cios for usb loader gx but not sure since I installed off of guide and then added the usbloader gx wads as well. I've modded a 4.3u last week following same guide and did not have any problems.

Go into USB loader GX's settings and update it. There is a much newer version out that may support your HDD. I know it worked with another wii b4 but i had some problems before and they were solved by doing this.

The newer version worked. There must be some issue with the old usb loader forwarder and maui's new guide. This one has changed a bit from over a year ago when I did my first wii. Thanks for the idea.

Hmmm...maybe maui should include a section recommending to update USB loaders...
