I didnt until you just mentioned it. I did the update, and ran usb loader gx. Still no luck. So i started at Chapter 2 of the Guide, reinstalled everything, and now the wii isnt picking up my hdd. So either i screwed up somewhere (might have been when i was in priiloader) or the hdd is junk. kind of a bummer since it was new :/ Going to take another run at it tonight once im done with my mommy duties.

Hi Jules2284, just a quick note. love all the posts above, Do you have another modded working wii.
A friends maybe. You can do some self help.
Run a system check. make sure all looks good. Check and or update your USB loaders, You can have more than one on your wii. I use Fat32 drives no SD card. apps on root of drive. USB CFG v70 & USB GX v2.3 Never a problem. If I use a flash Pen drive I use NTFS, I also run from SD card only. All I'm saying is there are many ways to run your modded wii, The guys above can vouch for that. Loan another drive. Save your drive contents to PC. Format and try another option. Once you get all your settings to your liking save them.
    best of luck

Do you have a spare USB/HDD? If so, try putting a game on that and see if it works.
