ok..now i got the idea of priiloader and DOLS..correct me if am wrong:

I should use .DOLS with priiloader of i want to make wii boot directly to the specified loader !!!

still what exactly is the WAD?

-If i want to burn my original disc game to the hard disk...I think i cant do it through CFG..but it can be through USB loader GX,,,is this right?

and mu USB loader is working with CFG..but the favorite is not working ..the off settings is not going to ON?

    whats the difference of all?
You need a .wad file to install a forwarder channel. A .dol or .elf is an application that you run through the Homebrew Channel. Installing something in Priiloader is for auto-booting an app on an SD card. You don't need this. Ignore it for now.

A forwarder channel is smaller and takes up less room on the Wii memory. It points to an app on an SD card. A system channel installs the entire app to the Wii. It takes up more memory but doesn't reguire an SD card to be inserted.

You need the .wad file for the forwarder that you want to install (WiiFlow forwarders can be found here). Download one of the forwarders (i.e. the default WiiFlow forwarder) and save the .wad file to your sd card in the /wad/ directory. Then open up Multi-Mod-Manager, go to the WAD Manager, navigate to the WAD you just put on your SD card and press (A) on the WiiMote to install it. Then it will be on your channel screen.

DOL is just a wii executable, like an EXE for windows. WADS are bundled channels or content, installed to the Wii's NAND (internal memory). The dol included with the any wii pack is a simple forwarded that looks for boot.dol in a particular folder.

Configurable USB loader is all I use, and yes, you can rip games with it. Press [+]

    -Blu

    Softmod ANY Wii

I don't know the technical definition, but a WAD is basically a file that you install directly on your Wii's internal memory (NAND). It could contain a channel, an IOS, etc. If someone wants to clean this definition up, please do!

Yes. Any half-decent USB loader will allow you to rip your games.

NOTE: I have both CFG and WiiFlow on my SD card and have yet to encounter any problems.

I have 5 loaders on my wii if you count NeoGamma and Softchip. Mostly use WiiFlow, but cfg and gx work just fine also. never had a problem with any of them.
