yes, rip your original to the hdd and you will be all set. It doesn't make a lot of sense to try and rip the copy since your hdd wont read copied games

I would suggest using USB LOADER GX, for me, its UI is easier to use, and it automatically rips it to wbfs, and it will download the original artwork for the game (and much more)
    Even Bears Play With Wii's!!

If I've Helped You Plz Say Thanks

Are you using original wii disc? If you are your dvd drives lens may be dirty or dead.

No i am not talking about original disc. Original discs works fine. I am asking about copied discs. Can I copy a game from CD (which is already burnt) to hdd using PC?

If the original disks work, just rip the original disks to your hard drive with your USB loader. It'll be easier that way.

On your pc you need to make an image of the disc, and you'll end up with an .iso file(use google). Then you Can either copy that straight to your hdd or use wbfs backup manager to convert it to your hdd if your using a wbfs partition on your hdd.

Better still use a game manager on your PC and convert the ISO file into a wbfs file then put it into a folder called wbfs on the root of your FAT32 HDD

WBFS partition is so old HAT......
